Nestled just 8 miles from splendid beaches, it's well-positioned for easy access to local restaurants. Upon arrival, I was welcomed with a cup of tea from Sophie, which felt like a warm embrace after a long journey. The restored village house boasts a lovely garden and has thoughtful touches throughout, such as a modern shower that, while delightful, could leave your water slightly chilly after multiple uses-perhaps a note on usage would help future guests. The room was spacious with comfortable bedding, flat-screen TV, and free toiletries, ensuring a pleasant stay. Breakfast, served by Sebastien, featured an average continental spread, complete with homemade jams. Plus, the secure parking is a fantastic bonus, especially for those traveling with electric bikes. I found Domaine Les Tilleuls a charming stopover that provides good value for a peaceful retreat-ideal for those weighing a luxurious experience against their budget.
